Claire Jackson
Clinical Director & Lead Podiatrist
BSc, DPodM, MCPod, HCPC Reg.
Claire is our Lead Podiatrist. She graduated in podiatry in 1989 and worked for South Devon NHS Trust for 11 years at hospitals and clinics. Following a move to the North in 2000, Claire gained even more experience in her field with both the East Cheshire NHS Trust and private practices. Taking her extensive knowledge of foot health, Claire opened Northwich Foot Clinic in 2012. Since this time, Claire has gained her reputation as a podiatry expert in Northwich and beyond, providing superior podiatry services to all of her many clients. She is dedicated to customer care, and ensures that each visitor to the Clinic is given the time and attention they need. In her spare time, Claire is an avid gardener, growing her own vegetables and even keeping bees.
Tom Sandy
Associate Podiatrist
BSc(hons), MCPod, HCPC Reg.
Tom has recently joined our thriving team to add his wide knowledge of biomechanics and hands on podiatry skills. Tom studied a degree in Biology at Sheffield Hallam University, where he gained a deep understanding of the human body and its pathologies. Following this, he studied Podiatry at the University of Salford, and achieved a first-class honours degree.
Tom is very interested in personal fitness, and he utilises his knowledge of sports and sport injuries in the work he undertakes at the clinic. Tom is a highly trained and perceptive podiatrist who is committed to providing the best possible foot care.
When Tom isn’t at the Clinic, he can usually be found at the gym. A keen boxer, at 6 foot 5 inches tall he has an excellent reach!
Louisa Smart
Associate Podiatrist
MSc(hons), MCPod, HCPC Reg.
Louisa graduated from Salford University with a first-class Masters degree in podiatry, and we are delighted that she is working for us at Northwich Foot Clinic for 3 days a week.
Louisa has a special interest in diabetic foot health, providing care and helping to reduce foot damage in people with diabetes. She is also knowledgeable in biomechanics, and provides excellent analysis and diagnosis to correct issues with balance and gait.
In her spare time, Louisa is busy moving into her first home with her husband.
